Latin America. Wholesale distributor of security technology Siasa announced the strengthening of its commercial partnership with the manufacturer HID Global, to market its Vento access control line in Latin American countries.
During the announcement, both companies reaffirmed their commitment to offer the market solutions with the highest standards of innovation and safety. In this sense, HID Vento was presented as an ideal choice for innovation-oriented organizations in the region.
"This secure and reliable system is ideal for both companies looking to implement access control in their facilities for the first time, and those that want to evolve to a more advanced solution with high security standards," said Rogerio Coradini, current commercial director of HID's Physical Access Control (PACS) for Latin America.
According to the executive, the goal of this technology is to increase security in the facilities by offering modern and easy-to-use access control.
Characteristics
HID Vento has state-of-the-art readers. These readers are designed to work with the HID Vento card and HID Mobile Access credentials. They use RFID and Bluetooth technology for secure performance. In addition, it is easy to install thanks to a terminal block.
- Reading ability: Vento readers can read at a distance of up to 8 cm.
- Certified resistance for outdoor use: Compliant with the UL294 Outdoor standard.
- Robust IP55 rating: This ensures durability and protection against harsh environmental conditions.
Credentials
The HID Vento credential is protected against cloning thanks to AES128 encryption, which ensures the integrity and confidentiality of the information. Specifically designed to work in conjunction with the HID Vento reader, this card becomes an essential element for efficient and secure access management.
HID Mobile Access credentials eliminate the need for additional configurations, offering an out-of-the-box solution with mobile devices, and its eco-friendly approach to dispensing with the use of plastics aligns with current sustainability trends.
The ability to issue, modify, or revoke these types of credentials wirelessly adds an extra layer of security, while reducing the chance of loss, as people are less likely to lend or misplace their phone.
With a user profile that encompasses companies with between 100 and 1000 employees, and up to 200 access doors, HID Vento adapts to various industries such as hospitals and clinics, office buildings, supermarkets, warehouses, colleges, universities, schools, daycare centers, hotels and resorts, among others.
"This is how at SIASA we recognize the importance of offering advanced and accessible technological solutions. HID Vento technology and its components represent not only an evolution in terms of security, but also in adaptability to changing customer needs, giving companies in the region the opportunity to improve their access management efficiently and securely," said the new regional distributor.
