Mexico. With an investment of more than $11 million dollars by the Municipal Government of Chimalhuacán, Jomtel Telecomunicaciones built and equipped one of the most important C4 in the region.
This Command and Intelligence Center has the implementation of state-of-the-art hardware and software, state-of-the-art technology to help fight crime and guarantee the safety of Chimalhuaco families.
"Previously, Chimalhuacán had a C2 that only had what is a very basic VMS from the manufacturer itself, many posts without video, a C2 with many deficiencies in terms of technology. Today it will have a modern C4, with cutting-edge technology, with a video analytical system with the recognition of license plates, faces, and body analysis recognition," said Engineer Jorge Luis Morera, CEO of Jomtel Telecommunications.
In this project, the C4 infrastructure was implemented, updated and modernized with the following actions:
- Construction of the property in accordance with the applicable regulations for C4 and C5.
- Integral Urban Video Surveillance System, 237 monitoring posts each of them integrated with 5 cameras, 1 panic button and a speaker.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as the installation of towers to house radio communication systems and data link systems.
- Provision of portable and mobile digital radio communication (DMR) equipment and integration of the DMR system and infrastructure.
- Video surveillance equipment for vehicle fleet, consisting of 2 cameras and a recorder installed in 120 patrol cars.
"What is going to be achieved? It will be able to deter and reduce crime rates, as well as identify the criminals who currently have stalked that area of the State of Mexico and, well, we are convinced that the project will have a great impact and will obtain results in the very short term for the benefit of the people of Chimalhuaqué," concluded the General Director of Jomtel Telecomunicaciones.
