International. CommScope Holding Company, Inc. has completed the previously announced acquisition of the Telecommunications, Enterprise and Wireless businesses of TE Connectivity, a leader in fiber optic connectivity for wired and wireless networks.
This transaction, which was completed entirely in cash, valued at approximately US$3 billion, strengthens CommScope's position as a leading provider of communications infrastructure by providing it with better resources to meet the growing demand of networks worldwide for higher bandwidth. This transaction gives rise to a stronger company, with greater innovation, talent in human resources and optimal capabilities in general to serve customers in four main areas:
• Internal and external wireless networks;
• Data centers and headquarters;
• Connected and efficient buildings;
• Access and backhaul networks.
